Shia Imamiyah teachings hold that our Holy Imams [a] are the  rightful leaders and spiritual guides for the Muslim community.

Following fallible individuals, who may err in their understanding or interpretation of faith, can lead to misguided beliefs and practices. This viewpoint asserts that true adherence to Islam requires recognizing and following the guidance of the infallible Imams [a], who are seen as the embodiment of Islamic principles and the most authentic representatives of the Prophet Muhammad’s [s] message.
